We were assigned two self portraits- one conveying some type of strong emotional element and the other being as visually representative as possible.

These are drawings of Paul done in the figure drawing class at Bakersfield College.
Paul is a dear friend whom i trained as a figure model and recommended to the instructor.

First, my very first compressed charcoal drawing.


This was a difficult pose that i managed to make work- and was one of the pieces i chose to represent my work for finals presentations.


A difficult pose for Paul which he maintained for more than 20 minutes.
